The CTC ETU01-PLUS is a single-port access device used for the access conversion of E1 (non-framed) or FE1 (framed) lines. It supports user data rates of N×56 or N×64 Kbps, up to 2.048 Mbps, and allows for a maximum attenuation of 43 dB over coaxial cable or twisted pair, with a transmission distance of up to 2 km/22 AWG.

The ETU01-PLUS can perform conversion between user data and any timeslot of the E1 channel. It provides a fixed V35 data interface module.

The ETU01-PLUS complies with all international standards for E1 lines: ITU-G.703, ITU-G.704, ITU-G.706, ITU-G.732, and ITU-G.823. It features V.54 diagnostic functions, enabling local and remote loop tests at various points for rapid fault isolation. It includes a built-in 511-bit random code generator for end-to-end or loop bit error detection. Power supply supports AC (90–250 VAC) and DC (18–75 VDC). For both E1 and user data interfaces, multiple clock source options are available, providing maximum flexibility for complex network environments. The clock of the main E1 link can be set to recovered clock, data port clock, or internal clock.
